Hi it's the 4 of July, gave myself a home Perm, won't pay a $100.00 for one when you can do it for $6.00.

It's hot and muggie here, temp about 78 seems to be cooling of . The flowers are in full bloom white Lillis, small sun flowers,and the impatients are slow growing this year. The neighbor's have some bright dark red holly hocks.

Went to the Minnesota Donkey and Mule Show at Howard Lake MN yesterday.;
Just a small show not to many people watching the show but it was Free to watch very nice; it was interesting to see the different colors of the mules , pale tan=(Buckskin) black , brown and every shade in between.There was a little burro about the size of a doberman pincher. A very little girl about the age of 4 was riding it ,her mom was leading the burro, they were doing a barrel race, the burro did not want to lead , she keep pulling on it but it did not want to move. Then the Mule whisperer ( yes their is a mule whisperer) came out behind it and made noises and clapped his hands, then the burro would move; if he got to close then the burro would jump and kick witch the little girl did not like. They finished going around the barrel and made it back across the finished line every one clapped very loudly for her.
